About Me

My Name is Brittany Crowell. I am a married, mom of two living in Atlanta, GA. I began my own fitness journey when my youngest was around 2 years old. In 2013, I was on hormonal birth control and dealing with family stress, depression, being newly married, and moving to a new city. I gained a lot of weight very quickly and for years after I went through cycles of feeling bad about myself enough to join a gym, exercising for two weeks and then going back to old habits. After I had my youngest in 2017, I was the heaviest I had ever been and dealing with intense depression and anxiety. I knew I needed to make a change but I didn't know how.  In 2019, a friend invited me to a kickboxing class and I had the most fun I had ever had exercising. I signed up for a membership and for a few years exclusively did kickboxing. It was a lot of fun, but after a while, I plateaued. I decided to try out my gym's HIIT class and I had a personal training session. I learned that I LOVED weights. I felt strong and empowered. my depression symptoms began to let up, I began losing weight and gaining muscles I didnt know I was capable of having. Exercise became like a drug. The gym became my happy place. I began looking into becoming a personal trainer because i wanted others to feel the way I felt.
